Unknown Space: Gameboy Color

Welcome back to Unknown Space! There have been a whole host of updates to the original gameboy jam version of the game. Many of the changes have been posted in the Devlogs. This updated full version is in Gameboy Color mode and features new locations, assets, secrets and updates to the gameplay.  Stay tuned for the physical release coming soon!

How to use the ROM:

You can launch the game by loading the ROM’s .gb file in a Gameboy Color emulator, for example BGB  or Sameboy. You can also use Retroarch and EmuDeck on the Steam Deck.

Keyboard Controls:

Arrow Keys: Move

X = B (Attack, Cancel)

Z = A (Action)

Enter: Start Menu/Enter ship while in space

R Shift: Save Menu

Space Shooter Level:

A: Laser

B: Rocket

Start: Pause

XBOX Controller:

D pad: Move

A: Attack, Cancel

B: Action

Start: Start Menu/Enter ship while in space

Select: Save Menu

Space Shooter Level:

B: Laser

A: Rocket

Start: Pause
